Build the Private Legal AI Stack

We're building tools for lawyers who take client confidentiality seriously — which means we take engineering seriously. If you want to work on cryptography, distributed systems, and applied AI without compromising on any of them, you'll probably fit here.

Architecture over policy

We ship technical guarantees, not promises. If it isn't enforceable at the cryptographic layer, we don't put it in the marketing copy.

Small team, high trust

We stay small on purpose. Every engineer owns a surface end-to-end. No ticket queues, no project-management theatre.

Remote, async-first

The team is distributed across four time zones. Written over synchronous, maker time over meetings, output over presence.

Open roles

No roles open right now

We hire in small, deliberate bursts around product milestones. If you'd be a fit for a role we don't have open yet — reach out anyway. Exceptional people create their own roles here.

Introduce yourself

What we're looking for

  • Depth over breadth. We'd rather hire someone who has gone deep on one hard problem than someone who has touched twenty easy ones.
  • A taste for hostile threat models. If the first question you ask about a feature is “how does this fail,” we want to talk.
  • Written communication. Most of our decision-making happens in long-form documents. If you find writing useful rather than tedious, you'll enjoy it here.
  • A bias toward deletion. The best code is code we didn't write. The best feature is the one we talked ourselves out of.

Compensation & benefits

Above-market cash plus meaningful equity. Full health, dental, and vision coverage in US/UK/EU. Remote stipend for home-office setup. Four weeks paid leave and an expectation that you actually take it.
